First off I am unsure how much information you were given about the company this item comes from. My perspective of a glass jug is an odd one. I make my own beer, as alcohol creation is a family tradition. I am the first one to make beer, whereas everyone else makes wine. The word "potential" is beyond fitting to this image. The bottle closing mechanism, most people refer to a Grolsch bottle, home brewers know of them easy caps. Seeing these bottles signifies the ready of a batch. I myself use these bottles for small batches of beer, and seeing one empty without the signs of it having been recently emptied almost makes me a bit sad. But seeing the word potential lets me know it is ready to be filled. Although, clear glass is reserved for certain kinds of beer, none of which are American in origin, or any kind of easy to create. So the clear glass makes me lose a bit of the brewing connotation and feels like a decorative bottle.
