As I have been approaching my icons, we have been experimenting with how we can show meaning with patterns and words that convey our exhibit. One of my many patterns that I was drawn more with the patterns was my tree icon because I had so many successful patterns then I combined it with fire to give a deeper meaning like forest fire. Then for some of my icons they worked better by themselves because the pattern could create the mood and meaning, but some just needed extra help with getting the point across. This part of the project of making the patterns was so much fun that I can't wait to see what the outcome is going to be.
